Avocado Chocolate Mousse

A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional mousse.

This dessert is refined sugar-free and dairy-free.

Avocado is rich in healthy fats that reduce inflammation and are heart healthy, high in fiber to support digestion and immune system, and contains vitamins that nourish the brain, skin, and bones.



1 ripe avocado

1 cup nut milk (almond, cashew, coconut)

¼ cup raw cacao powder

3 medjool dates, pitted

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon cardamom (optional)

Pinch of sea salt



  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If not using a high-speed blender, you may need to stop and move ingredients around/scrape sides with a spatula to help blend.

  2. Optional: Place in refrigerator for 20 mins to serve chilled. Top with desired toppings. Enjoy!
